Celebrities Have The Job Of Looking Good

Celebrities have a stake in how they look. Their very careers dictate that they have to have bodies that look good on screen or stage.

They also are paid highly enough to be able to afford the personal trainers, fitness coaches and personal chefs to help them achieve their fitness and weight goals.

Just like us, celebrities come in all different shapes and sizes and have various metabolisms. They too struggle with weight issues whether that is gaining too much or being too thin. They all have varying degrees of discipline and motivation when it comes to dieting and sticking to good nutrition guidelines. They all have food cravings and want to splurge on a favorite food item just like we do. They struggle with food and weight issues just like we do but they have makeup artists, hair stylists, and lighting people who can help camouflage the little imperfections that we unfortunately do not have at our disposal.

In order to look good, celebrities rely on professionals to design meals that help them to lose weight or gain muscle, even to gain weight if they need to add curves to their body frame. They don’t have to worry about preparing foods properly in order to follow a certain diet program; they have chefs to do that for them. Maintaining the proper body for a certain movie or for stage appearances means that they need the right balance of exercise and diet. In order to have this balance they hire fitness trainers or personal coaches. After all they have a lot at stake as they are always in the public eye. Most of us won’t see our bodies plastered in magazines if we gain 5 or 10 pounds. This lifestyle of being in the public eye is what motivates celebrities to stay trim and keep to diet programs when they might otherwise give in to temptation.

Celebrities have the same mid-life crisis’s, the same slowing of metabolism as they hit their thirties and forties as we do. They experience the same mood swings and emotional ups and downs that many of us do that can send us into eating binges. Celebrities more than likely fall off the diet wagon just like we do, but they have personal trainers and coaches to pick them up and motivate them to get back with the program.

When a person is on stage, in front of a camera or constantly being photographed it is understandable why body image is more important to them. Having celebrity status mandates that they should expect to be thrust into the public’s eye not only when they are working but also when they are out with family and friends doing everyday tasks. They seldom have the luxury of letting their guards down and being able to relax and look less than perfect. This constant need to look good motivates them to always be thinking and taking action to achieve that perfect body. They can’t just think about losing weight or toning up, they have to always be taking action to achieve the results they need.

To a celebrity, a good-looking body is a job requirement. The personal trainers, personal chefs and fitness coaches are tools they use in order to accomplish what they need to in order to keep their jobs.
